Beach Picnic - Mentor Mentee Program

Oh in the evening we had a beach picnic! The mentor-mentee program is this initiative by the international student association where newbies are paired up with senior international students for, errr, lack of a better word, guidance. Yup. Anyways it was really a great gathering!

mummy, the guy on the extreme right, the one you asked me about, he's from Guam...
yasu's from japan
sufiya's from malaysia
sunjin's from korea
next to me's joonhee who's also happens to be from korea tooo
this is what we were all looking forward to the whole time. ...spectacular

oh and that's yvonne from malaysia

back to schooooolll :(

Martin Luther King Day - Picnic

The end point of the parades was one of the parks along the beach. People set up booths selling food and stuffs, while others got their picnic mats and made themselves comfortable in the park. We had a mini picnic too!

some of the many booths that were set up in the park

nicole came by and joined us for the picnic!

smile!~there was a stage behind us, where they had performances to liven up the atmosphere

here's a mini clip that shows the performance on stage, as well as the surrounding picnic area (with commentary as well! not by me tho):
